Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare rubber lining equipment for the Hot/Cold bond curing process by rolling or painting the interior surface. Rubber lining pipes, tanks & other equipment for oil sands /mining by following instructions & drawings provided. Cut the rubber sheets on the layout table, perform stitching & rolling for rubber lining operations. Able to demonstrate compliance with company safety procedures & standards. Other duties as aligned by lead hand & supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Crawl inside spools to stitch the applied rubber.
Work Environment:
Forklift & crane operating certificates are assets . Boiler 4th Class & First aid ticket are assets. Employee must reside in Edmonton, AB Protective Equipment is mandatory and includes steel-toed boots, earplugs, and safety glasses.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
