Understanding of Information Security and Privacy Classification requirements and applying them to unstructured data environments.
Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with business analysts, architects, intelligence specialists, data managers, project managers, training specialists, and other stakeholders.
Supporting business and information architecture functions in defining information management priorities.
Active participation in information management committees, working groups, or similar forums.
Experience developing and tracking information management performance metrics.
Research and analysis capabilities relevant to environmental/jurisdictional scans, legislation, policy, business process mapping, and maturity assessments.

Deliverables
The Senior Information Management Specialist is expected to play a pivotal role in the successful execution of an EIM platform. Their responsibilities and expectations encompass the following:
Lead the rollout and configuration of the enterprise Information Management platform (e.g., OpenText) across Supply Ontario and its partners.
Conduct comprehensive business analyses to define information management requirements related to recordkeeping, access, privacy, and security.
Develop and implement data governance frameworks, including document management protocols, business and records classification schemes, metadata standards, and retention policies.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of the platform within the enterprise architecture.
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Provide ongoing advice and guidance on information management concepts and best practices to business units and technical teams.
Develop and deliver training programs and awareness campaigns to build information management capabilities across the organization.
Conduct compliance assessments to ensure the platform and practices meet regulatory, legal, and security requirements, including privacy impact assessments.
Participate in committees, working groups, and forums to represent and advance information management objectives.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to project sponsors and steering committees.
Develop and track performance metrics to measure the effectiveness and maturity of information management initiatives.
Support continuous improvement through research, environmental scans, and business process analysis to adapt to evolving information management needs.
Maintain thorough project documentation including policies, procedures, configuration guides, training materials, and audit reports.

Desirable Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Information Technology, Library Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional certifications in Information Management, Records Management (e.g., CRM - Certified Records Manager), or relevant technology certification.
Experience working within or supporting public sector organizations and understanding their regulatory environments.
