Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team to supervise and provide care in our new Memory Care Wing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and possess the skills necessary to provide high-quality nursing services in . This role requires a commitment to enhancing the well-being of patients through effective nursing practices and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes in medical records. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and treatment plans. Support patients with activities of daily living Maintain accurate medical terminology in documentation and communication with healthcare staff. Participate in case management activities to coordinate patient services effectively.

Qualifications

Experience in a retirement home, assisted living or nursing home is preferred; Familiarity with dementia care is highly desirable. Valid CPR/First Aid Certification Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of medical terminology is essential. Experience using electronic health record systems Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with seniors A valid nursing license is required along with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 48 per week
