Current Rate of Pay: Min $38.49 - Max $39.02
Current Shifts: All Shifts -8hrs
Location: 115 Delhi St & 460 Speedvale Avenue (New Community DI Centre)
Position Summary:
The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in the Diagnostic Imaging department functions as an essential member of the modality team, providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Formally reporting to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager and working under the direction of the modality team lead, the RPN ensures safe, effective support across diagnostic procedures. Working within their full scope of practice and under approved medical directives, the RPN aligns with the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and the mission, vision, and values of Guelph General Hospital (GGH) to provide excellent, best practice imaging tests.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Current Introduction to MRI Safety, Level 1 and Level 2 MR Safety Training
  • Experience in diagnostic Imaging preferred
  • Knowledge of outpatient episodic care and testing preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, colleagues and physicians
