As the RPA Business Analyst, you will work with various departments across the business to flush out and develop automation solutions. The position is responsible for gathering and documenting functional and nonfunctional requirements. You will help to define the scope of project work, drive progress during requirements stage by ensuring the right partners are engaged.A Day in the Life
  • Partner with Automation Manager and business to develop a deep end-to-end understanding of processes targeted for automation
  • Engages with cross-functional teams to develop business requirements, documenting processes to be automated in a manner that is understood by business users and can be shared with RPA solution design and development teams. This includes use of requirement templates, process maps, data/process flows, and data mapping when applicable
  • Manages the requirements and communication with development teams. Provides automation support for the various solutions deployed across the business
  • Reengineer processes by thinking outside of the box to find newest technologies to improve the processes
  • Meet with business stakeholders and process owners to understand root cause of the problem, discuss requirements, map processes, assess and design solutions for developers to build.
  • Design and maintain Process Design Documents (PDDs) for automation projects.
  • Work with offshore and global teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and scope.
  • Manage project scope, benefits, and requests for changes/enhancements, bi-weekly status reporting to business and CoE, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Assist with testing as required \xe2\x80\x93 may include identification of test cases and supporting QA testers as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s in business, systems, or 3+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (multiple disciplines Agile/Scrum, waterfall etc.)
  • Experience working with cross-functional flowcharts for documenting process mapping. Utilize tools like Lucid Chart or Visio to map processes.
  • Knowledge of RPA, OCR, AI, technologies, and spectrum of best practices with process automation and operational excellence
  • System and data analysis experience with mapping current and existing data flows between systems
  • Influence SMEs toward change, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Experience in documenting business requirements (functional and nonfunctional)
  • Experience working with automation software (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath)
  • Experience writing simple SQL queries for data analysis
  • Exposure to/experience with generative AI and RPA AI-powered solutions, including the use of Gen AI as part of the RPA solution.
  • Knowledge of low-code/no-code tools such as Smartsheet, Power Automate, Power Bi, Excel macros, Alteryx, and Power Apps is good to have.
  • Experience designing Process Design Documents (PDDs).
