Job Description

We are looking for a full-time route driver for our Truro - New Glasgow route, who will ensure excellent customer service while being responsible to deliver fresh product to stores. For five decades, Mrs. Dunster's has been a cherished family tradition in the Maritimes and Maine. As a local, family-owned bakery with operations in Sussex and Moncton, we take pride in our unique creations, exceptional customer service, talented teams, and unwavering commitment to our community.

Responsibilities:

Deliver fresh products to stores across assigned territories. Direct store sales, merchandising, and stock rotation. Maintain route schedules and handle product loading/unloading. Ensure accurate processing of reports and invoices. Provide exceptional customer service. Schedule and maintain truck maintenance. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logbooks. Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to DOT regulations. Wake up early to ensure timely departure and adherence to delivery schedules. Drive box trucks over 16' in length.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with 3+ years of box-truck driving experience and a clean driving abstract. Direct-store sales or merchandising experience preferred. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dedication to customer service. Energetic, professional, and friendly demeanor. Neat and clean appearance.
