Molder

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Molder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality molded products by operating various machinery and tools. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and attention to detail to ensure that all products meet quality standards. The Molder will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other team members to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

Operate molding machines and equipment to produce parts according to specifications. Assemble components and perform quality inspections on finished products. Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments, such as calipers, to ensure precise measurements. Implement Lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Conduct basic maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve processes.

Skills

Proficient in operating lathes and other machining equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in manufacturing processes. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Experience in quality inspection techniques to ensure product standards are met. Ability to effectively use hand tools for assembly tasks. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
