Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This role is essential in upholding our high standards of service and cleanliness.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed. Follow established procedures for cleaning and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A background in hospitality or custodial services will be advantageous. Must be physically able to perform the duties required, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
