Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The Roofer will be responsible for repairing and installing various types of roofing systems.
Duties
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best repair procedures
- Install new roofing systems using various materials
- Use hand tools to cut, shape, and fit materials to the structure
- Apply caulking or other sealants to ensure the roof is watertight
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting as required during roofing projects
- Collaborate with carpenters and other construction workers on-site
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools commonly used in roofing projects
- Knowledge of blueprint reading for accurate installation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights
- Experience with caulking and sealing techniques is a plus
- previous experience as a shingler is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Swift Current, SK S9H 1B1
