Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be comfortable working at heights. This role involves a variety of tasks related to roofing installation, maintenance, and repairs, requiring both physical stamina and technical skills.

Duties

Perform roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance on various types of roofs. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively and safely. Assist in the preparation of job sites, including loading and unloading materials. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation according to specifications. Conduct caulking and sealing to prevent leaks and ensure roof integrity. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Engage in heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment during roofing projects.

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in roofing and construction work. Experience in general construction practices, including carpentry techniques. Ability to read blueprints accurately for effective project execution. Familiarity with caulking methods for sealing joints and openings. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively. Previous maintenance person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in various repair tasks. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
