We are currently recruiting for Roof Framers to join our dynamic team in Bouctouche, N.B.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Bouctouche, NB. The primary language of work is English.

Qualifications:
Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent or Trade Certification
Years of Experience Required:
2 years
Balance: Roofers work on roofs, which might have very steep pitches. Balance is crucial to the job and a roofer\'s safety.
Strength: Roofers need to be able to carry heavy materials, like bundles of shingles, up ladders and onto roofs. Must be in good physical condition and strength with the ability to lift more than 70 lbs and a willingness to work overtime occasionally.
Stamina: Roofers spend most of their day on their feet, sometimes during intense heat and humidity.
No Fear of Heights: Roofs work at high elevations. Roofers need to be steady and unafraid of being in high places, and willing to complete the Fall Arrest Training provided.
A willingness and ability to perform different tasks on a repetitive basis in a structured environment
A willingness to try new processes, work with changing production demands, and promote new ideas & suggestions for improvement
A desire to learn new skills and experiences
High degree of safety awareness
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, will be considered an asset
Experience working as a laborer, will be considered an asset
Experience working with as any, or all, of the following trades, will be considered an asset:
Finish Carpentry
Rough Carpentry
Electrical
Roofing
Flooring Installation
Cabinet Installation
Painting
Key Responsibilities:
All phases of construction, including utilizing various tools and working with blueprints to build quality homes and commercial and industrial buildings
Perform all job duties with a high degree of safety consciousness
Ensure quality of all work and adherence to building code
