Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. Must have prior roll off or hook lift truck experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and recyclable materials. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and the ability to perform basic automotive repairs as needed. The Roll Off Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient waste management operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Duties



Operate roll-off trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload containers at designated sites, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Perform basic maintenance and automotive repairs on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules effectively. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during operations.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CLASS 3 or CLASS 1 ) with a clean driving record is required. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll-off or heavy equipment, is preferred. Familiarity with excavators or skid steer operation is a plus. Strong understanding of freight handling and transportation regulations. Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques is beneficial for performing routine maintenance tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings as part of the hiring process. Pay: $26.11-$36.79 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
