Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll-off trucks, transporting waste and recyclable materials to designated locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate roll-off trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload containers at various job sites, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of loads transported, including weight tickets and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding job status and any issues that arise. Assist with minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness. Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and during loading/unloading processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with roll-off trucks. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Knowledge of freight handling and waste management practices is a plus. Basic automotive repair skills are desirable for maintaining vehicle performance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in all operations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
