Duties and Responsibilities;
Performing variety of HEO tasks (moving material, grading, dumping, placing, installing, loading material into trucks, etc).
Operate and control equipment safely in varying ground conditions.
Follow safe work practices, procedures, and specific work site conditions.
Complete daily inspections and hazard assessments.
Respond to signals and directions of onsite personnel and Supervisors.
Working in tight areas in close proximity to workers, underground utilities, overhead power lines, and the general public.
Perform safety, maintenance, and servicing checks to ensure proper functioning of the equipment.
Clean, lubricate, and fuel equipment daily.
Inform management or mechanic of major repairs and maintenance requirements.
Ensure equipment inspections are completed daily and any equipment concerns are addressed to your foreman.
Willing and able to assist ground crew when equipment/machine, is not in use
Strong communication skills
Qualifications and Requirements;
Minimum 2+ years experience operating equipment in a Construction or Landscape setting.
Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.
Positive attitude with an attention to safety.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Valid safety tickets.
