What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Robotics and Coding Coach; an energetic individual with an engaging personality who believes in our philosophy of learning and innovating in a fun environment. Our coaches are the lifeblood of our operation. You will join our team of coaches to teach robotics based on our proven curriculum.
Are you a technology teacher or do you have experience working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? This could be the role for you.
Requirements
Excellent oral communication.
Up beat, positive, energetic and works Independently.
Experience working with children age 6 to 18.
Graduate Degree or Pursuing Graduation degree in university/college
Knowledge in building and programming LEGO robots a plus.
Expert in one or many of programming languages like Python, JavaScript, Scratch, Minecraft and ROBLOX programming.
Expert in Arduino and raspberry pi
Experience with robotics competitions is a huge plus
Skilled at building mechanical contraptions creatively.
Experience in science, technology and/or math will be preferred.
Good listener and strong influencer.
Ability to inspire and lead others.
Pre-employment background check is required.
Responsibilities include:
Teach robotics based on our proven curriculum.
Create a positive and safe environment where innovation is encouraged.
Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
Timing:
Our evening programs are typically from 4:30pm to 8:30pm Monday thru Friday and Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ( 8 to 10 hours per week)
