An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking a Robotic Welder Helper.

Key Responsibilities:



Required to have the ability or to develop the ability to read and understand blueprints and blueprints specifications, control plans, routing to determine prescribed setup and operation. Mounts and positions workpiece on location pins of holding fixture adjacent to robot, manually or using hoist, and aligns and secures workpiece on holding fixture, using template bolts, hand tools and power tools. Enters commands to retrieve preprogrammed instructions from operating system. Pushes button or enters commands to activate robot that automatically retrieves and secures designed end effector on robot and positions arm for welding. Enters commands to start robot, observes robotic operation, and monitors screen of machine controller for malfunctions and error messages. Adjust machine according to error message instructions. Inspects finish workpiece for conformance to specifications. Expected to be physically capable of standing for long periods of time while completing job assignments, which may be equal to the entire shift. Expected to be physically capable of loading and unloading robot with production parts which may mean lifting parts repetitively daily weighing from fifty (50) to one hundred (100) pounds each from floor to shoulder level. Required to have the visual ability or to develop the visual ability to inspect parts being run in production and be able to exercise reasonable judgment of good versus bad parts from an appearance standpoint. Maintaining a clean and safe work area Adhere to company policies and procedures Working in a fast-paced environment Other duties as required

Qualifications and skills:



Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Knowledge and experience in basic MIG welding Safety and quality conscious High attention to detail Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instruction Very hands on attitude Able to work in a physically demanding environment Dedicated, reliable and able to work independently

Education & Experience:



Completion of secondary school or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

Work Schedule:



Day shift (6 am to 2 pm). Afternoon (2pm to 10pm). 38.75 hours per week.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
