ECHO Power Equipment (Canada) is a well-established, premier supplier in the outdoor power equipment industry in Canada. ECHO Canada's parent company, ECHO Incorporated, is the undisputed leader in robotic products for commercial turf and golf industries. With the rapid growth of our robotics business, we now require a dedicated representative for Western Canada.

We are currently seeking a talented sales professional who is prepared to work hard and drive our momentum forward in the role of:

Robotic Sales Account Manager WEST



(Lower Mainland, British Columbia OR Greater Calgary, Alberta Surrounding Area)



The Robotics Sales Account Manager WEST is responsible for managing the designated territory and achieving or surpassing targeted revenue growth in the execution of strategic sales plans and programs for ECHO. Ideally this role will be based in

Lower Mainland, British Columbia or Greater Calgary, AB surrounding area, and requires a significant amount of domestic and occasional international travel.

Responsibilities Include:



Develop and execute a channel strategy to identify and establish a dealer network for all Provinces and Territories in Western Canada.

Develop, implement, and monitor effectiveness of ECHO Robotic sales programs.

Identify, target, and engage key Sports field operators, Golf courses, City and Municipalities, etc., across Western Canada.

Targeting end users to promote the sales of robotic products

Participate in dealer open houses, tradeshows, and training seminars.

Build effective customer relationships within the outdoor power equipment industry, including contact with end-users.

Identify opportunities to develop the robotics market, promote the company and maintain a strong industry presence as the supplier of choice.

Make sales calls with dealer representatives on key accounts.

Demonstrate successful negotiating and closing sales.

Track and report all territory-based activities.

Monitor sales activity and forecast production requirements.

Be able to work outdoors to instruct / assist with complex robotics field installations.

Perform various other duties and assignments as requested to assist the operation and overall success of the division.

Travel: must be able to travel a significant amount through all of Western Canada and be able to travel occasionally internationally.

Key Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field is highly valued. Related experience may substitute for degree.

2-3 years' experience as a sales professional with a proven track record in sales and territory management.

Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in the equipment/industrial sales or outdoor power equipment industry would be an asset.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Effective communication, presentation and collaboration skills is vital

Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously improve skills.

Demonstrated commitment to excellence and life-long learning. CSP preferred.

Knowledge of turf and grounds-keeping a plus.

Channel sales experience required, including making "cold" and "warm" customer calls.
