POSTING DATE: November 14, 2024 POSTING: # 2024-082 (Non-Union)EXPIRY DATE: November 21, 2024WEST PERTH VILLAGE (RITZ LUTHERAN VILLA)NOTICE OF VACANCYPOSITION: Registered Nurse (RN) xe2x80x93 QualityWest Perth Village (Ritz Lutheran Villa)Full-Time (8-hour night shifts (2200-0600), every other weekend & holiday work)POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Improvement Nurse is an RN/RPN nursing position responsible for working in collaboration with the Nursing Department, to assist in the delivery of sustainable excellence in safety and quality of care and services. To support the homesxe2x80x99 Quality Improvement Plans by monitoring achievements against required standards, identifying risks to quality of care and services and planning and recommending changes for continuous quality improvement.

• Audits and following up accordingly
• Care conference
• Working with quality team and DOC/ADOC team
• Assisting on the floor as required
• Education/training
• Care planning/UDAs
• PCC documentation
• Participation in various committees
• Other duties as assigned

REPORTS TO: Director of CareDATE REQUIRED: As soon as possibleQUALIFICATIONS:- Current registration as Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario & in good standing- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a Long Term Care setting.- Thorough knowledge of the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act, 2021 and associated regulations including Ministry Inspection process.- Experience with and knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards to provide strategic direction to the homes would be an assets.- Demonstrated leadership experience an asset- Ability to adapt to changing and emerging care practices is also required.- Education related to dementia care is a definite asset.Abilities:- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.- Must have experience using PCC.- Must have strong attendance.Please submit a complete resume by visiting careers page on our website: or by dropping your application off at Ritz Lutheran Villaxe2x80x99s reception desk.West Perth Village (Ritz Lutheran Villa) is an equal opportunity employer that strives to create a respectful, accessible and inclusive work environment.
