POSTING DATE: November 22, 2024 POSTING #500-24 (ONA)EXPIRY DATE: November 29, 2024HURON PERTH HEALTHCARE ALLIANCENOTICE OF VACANCYINTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLYPOSITION: REGISTERED NURSEPre- & Post- Anaesthetic Care UnitClinton and StratfordExpression of InterestREPORTS TO: Manager, Surgical ServicesDATE REQUIRED: As soon as possibleSALARY: $39.07 to $56.00 per hourQUALIFICATIONS:- Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.- PACU course- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)- Completion of Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias courseEXPERIENCE:- Recent clinical experience in Recovery Room/Day Surgery/ENDO preferred.- Recent Paediatric and adult clinical experience in PACU.SKILLS/ABILITIES:- Specialized nursing skills in the following areas:- Airway Management and Breathing Support- Haemodynamic Monitoring- E.C.G. Interpretation course preferred- Physical Assessment Skills- Ability to identify pre and post op complications/risks.- Ability to organize, work independently, problem solve and trouble shoot.- Good understanding and knowledge of endoscopy procedures and technology.- Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer applications.- Excellent communication skills.- Working knowledge of Meditech information system, OR+ array and personal computerapplications-Thirty (30) minute return time will be required when scheduled for standby**Applicants may be eligible for Canada Student Loan Forgiveness and Tuition Support Program for Nurses programs**Please be advised that we are no longer accepting emailed or paper-based resumes.
