Position: Registered Nurse

Department: Paediatric Post ED/RSV Clinic (PEPC Clinic) (Maternal Child)

Status: Permanent Part-time (Must provide availability of up to 0.4 FTE)

Hours: Various rotating 8 & 12 hour shifts - Days & Evenings -weekdays 0800-1600, 1000-1800; weekends 0800-1600 (hours are subject to change based on operational requirements)

Site: Oakville

Providing quality patient care to paediatric patients and their families.

This is what you\'ll need to do it:

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
• Minimum 2-5 years recent experience in paediatric emergency and/or clinic required
• Current PALS certificate required.
• Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with families.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification required.
• Paediatric assessment skills.
• Paediatric medication calculation and administration skills.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Good team player.
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record.

The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.

Salary: $37.93 to $54.37 per hour
