Role: Co-Op

Location: Mississauga

Existing RIV Control Unit cannot be manufactured due to obsolescence of two key components. The purpose of the project is to redesign the Control Unit and eliminate the need for internal industrial computer and screen.

New design should minimize manufacturing cost and resolve obsolescence issue.

Research available enclosures for new Control Unit and select the most suitable one.

Design an ergonomic control unit interface.

Design internal layout for vehicle power supply and control boards.

Provide all drawings.

Provide support to other IRIS Special Projects activities.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred. * Currently enrolled in 2 or 4 year degree program.
