Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. As an RMT, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. This role requires effective communication with clients to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history. Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs and preferences. Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support client wellness.

Experience

Certification as a Registered Massage Therapist from an accredited institution. Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
