RLST 100 - Introduction to Religious Studies



An introduction to the academic study of religion; a survey of the thought and practices of major world religions; the impact of religion on society and culture
Position Requirements
The successful candidate musthold a minimum of an MA in Religious Studies, preferably a PhD; have a record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level; have experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina (including UR Courses [Moodle])

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
The instructor will deliver the course on campus face-to-face on Tuesdays from 19:00-21:45. Instructors are expected to have one office hour perweek.
Course Modality On Campus, Face-to-Face Course Dates and Time Tuesdays - 19:00-21:45 Duration (if Term/Temporary) January 1 - April 30, 2026. Sessional Lecturers may have preparatory work to do before the start date and sometimes may have to deal with grading tasks after the termination date.
