Department Overview
This individual will be working on the team for the Risk Management program. This program is involved in overseeing any claims that come in and manage and recover funds, etc. involve in litigation and mitigation for small claims against the bank.
This is a administrate role and the individual hired will need to have a genera capability to work with vendors, managing relationships and working towards established service levels. In this role induvial will do the following:
o Administrative work involved in billing and invoicing, incurred legal expenses, medical expenses, and reports that need to be tracked, recording and paid, and managed. o Will be Reporting to establish financial provisions for claim loss, and report loss incident and data input. o Liaising with people in the bank \xe2\x80\x93 communicate with different areas to get information and have surveillance video maintained and receive health and safety reports is someone had incident in a branch; they will do reporting. o Managing an inbox where people may advise there have been certain accidents or property damage that needs to be managed and work with third party adjustor to get these events managed and overseeing admin aspects.
Description:
Under minimal supervision contribute to Corporate Insurance (CI) objectives of helping protect the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s businesses from adverse impacts of risk events. Under the CI portfolio, handle and proactively manage with a high level of technical expertise all aspects of claims administration including coordination with third party claims adjuster, invoicing, financial reporting and admin support.
Responsible for coordinating the reporting and response between client third-party claims adjuster and internal lines of business stakeholders at client. Includes capturing new risk events (property, auto and health and safety reports) and triggering applicable downstream processes.
Administer payment of claims related expenses and recovery of insurance and subrogation proceeds.
Follows established loss reporting and internal risk event reporting, while ensuring regulatory compliance where applicable.
Analyzes claim reserves quarterly for variances versus previous quarter reserves and for appropriateness versus claim payments, and reports to Finance for provisioning.
Coordinates physical premises evaluation scheduling and reporting between internal real estate stakeholders and property insurer.
Participates as incident response liaison and for cyber and Blended program events.
Some travel may be required for mediations, inspections, or similar activities.
