If this sounds like a work environment you\'d thrive in, you might be a great fit for our team! We are currently seeking a Risk Analyst to join our team based in our Halifax, NS office. Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent Close Date: Friday, May 5, 2023 The Opportunity: An integral member of our finance team, the Firm\'s Risk Analysts\' are responsible for providing support to the Firm\'s Risk Manager by way of researching, analyzing, summarizing data, developing processes, and tracking / facilitating implementation for various risk management initiatives. In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for collecting data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive assessment for various risk-related projects, as well as researching and analyzing data to better understand project related risks and opportunities. Based on this information, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing systems and processes, facilitating & tracking implementation of risk-related projects, and monitoring effectiveness of implemented risk mitigation strategies. Additional responsibilities will include facilitating the policy management program, supporting the privacy management framework, assisting in incident response planning, supporting the insurance and claims management efforts, facilitating client service agreements & client attestations review / tracking, as well as other duties as assigned in support of the Firm\'s Risk Management and Resiliency Strategy. If you are a risk management professional with businesses continuity and incident response experience, along with strong research abilities, we want to hear from you! Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation and experience in the risk-field within a similar business environment would be considered an asset.
