JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a RIGGING ARTIST to join our dynamic and growing team. The Rigger is responsible for creating the digital rigs used to animate characters, creatures, props, and other objects in 3D animation. The rigging process involves creating a digital skeleton for the object, which serves as the foundation for the various joints and movements that the animator will use to bring the object to life. The Rigging Artist works closely with animators, modelers, and other members of the production team to ensure that the rig meets the needs of the project and is optimized for efficient animation and rendering. Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain digital skeletons and muscles for characters, props, and other objects.
- Develop and implement rigging systems and tools.
- Ensure that rigs are optimized for efficient animation and rendering.
- Collaborate with animators, modelers, and other artists to ensure that rigs meet the needs of the project.
- Troubleshoot and solve rigging issues as they arise.
- Bachelor\'s degree in animation or related field.
- Strong knowledge of animation techniques and principles.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio demonstrating past work experience.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Work from home
- French not required
- Monday to Friday
