RF Test and Validation Engineer

Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills:

- RF Wireless system calibration, performance testing, debugging, characterization and validation.
- RF parametric testing such as s-parameter, power Management, IP3, NF, Load-Pull, EVM, AM-AM/-PM, ACPR, phase noise etc. and antenna characterization in anechoic chamber.
- Knowledge to optimize Tx/Rx radio performance and designing and executing Analog/RF/Mm-Wave as well as PHY/MAC testing scripts capability to control RF test equipment and RF chips.
- Programming (using MatLab, LabView, Python and C++, etc.) to generate writing scripts autonomously that synthesize and analyze large data sets with IC systems and integration teams for testing reports.
- Knowledge of RF test systems and RF instruments (network analyzers, spectrum Analyzers, AWG, power meters, oscilloscopes; etc.)
- Knowledge of test methodologies and various measurements in time, frequency, power and modulation domains is desired along with over the air measurements.
- Coordinating with equipment vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Maintaining an inventory of test equipment and supplies.

Required Qualifications:

- BS or above major in electrical, telecommunications or equivalent.
- Coursework in electrical engineering, microwave engineering, and electromagnetics.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with RF test equipment and testing script software on drafting and plotting.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with phased array calibration and measurement.
- Experience using FPGA
- Course work and experience in RF signal processing and characterization.
