Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and skilled Revit Technician to join our residential design team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, schematics, and models using specifically Revit software. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in architectural design, supporting the development of detailed plans and visualizations. The Revit Technician will collaborate closely with the company's principal designer and project managers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, schematics, and models for residential construction projects.
Utilize Revit software to produce accurate designs.
Create detailed drafting documentation including construction plans, layouts, and technical schematics.
Assist in the preparation of presentation materials including 2D animations and visualizations.
Review project requirements and specifications to ensure drawings meet client standards, industry regulations and BC Bulilding code.
Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and models for easy access and version control.
Support ongoing project updates by modifying existing Revit files as needed.
Skills
Proficiency in Revit software as essential
Strong understanding of drafting principles, schematics creation, and technical documentation.
Ability to interpret construction documents and translate them into accurate CAD models.
Knowledge of 2D animation techniques for visual presentations is a plus.
Familiarity with construction processes and engineering concepts.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with project stakeholders.
