Northstar Engineering & Technologies Ltd. is a unique, innovative, leading-edge engineering firm specializing in full-service Building Services Engineering (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Life Safety Systems, Electrical Power, Lighting, IT Services) as well as Industrial Engineering and safety Compliance Services. We are currently seeking an experienced, talented, conscientious, and motivated junior designer. The successful candidate will be located in the Calgary NW area of the City and work from our Calgary Office to support our AB and ON offices. This is an entry-level engineering position suitable for a recent graduate or possibly an experienced individual. The position is a multifaceted role that involves (but not limited to), the following aspects: Assisting designers and engineers with project research, setting up projects and project files and databases, preparing general review reports, creating library content for REVIT MEP, assisting with the creation of plans in mechanical, electrical or industrial disciplines. The successful candidate will possess experience in an engineering environment, be fluent in English and proficient in various computer applications, have experience in software writing, be a quick learner, and be flexible in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
