We're looking for a Revenue Analyst to join our team in Montreal focusing on our transaction based revenue line!



In this role, reporting to the Manager, Revenue Accounting, you will contribute to enhancing our decision-making processes by analyzing and optimizing operational data. Your responsibilities will involve engaging in hands-on projects that focus on the validity, accuracy, and automation of data across various systems and workflows. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. What you'll be doing:


• Dealing specifically with our Software & Hardware Revenue line, across all of LSPD product offerings
• Carrying out meticulous walkthroughs and understanding the transaction flow in each revenue line
• Responsible for maintaining/assimilating and building complex workbooks that are reconciled to our financials. This would include posting the monthly entries within our accounting system
• Analyzing trends/issues and capable of explaining variances to management.
• Introducing controls & quality checks to ensure accuracy of reporting
• Conduct data quality analysis and system performance assessments across diverse systems (ERP, CRMs, billing systems, etc.).
• Evaluate the quality of data within information systems and propose solutions for enhancement.
• Execute tasks related to audits and engage in a wide variety of analysis and accounting activities associated with month-end processes.
• Revenue Analysis for Bundling & Discount Allocation: Manage revenue recognition for software and hardware bundles, ensuring compliance with accounting standards while optimizing pricing strategies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess financial impact and reporting accuracy


What you need to bring:



We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:


• 2-3 years of Audit Background.
• Passed CFE (Common Final Exam) and either received CPA or in-progress.
• Extensive experience using MS-Excel.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.


Even better if you have, but not necessary:


• Previous experience auditing Netsuite accounting system.
• Experience working with Salesforce, Looker and other reporting tools.
