MetCap Living Management Inc. is one of the largest private third party property managers specializing in multi-residential property management. We are a growth orientated company with our head office located in Toronto, Ontario and property operations in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
MetCap Living Management Inc. has an immediate opening for a Revenue Accountant at our downtown Toronto office. This is a hybrid position.
Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, the ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, whom will work along a team of finance professionals and the operations team.
Duties and responsibilities:
Process monthly move-ins, move-outs, notices, setup lease charges, LMR applications, parking and rent adjustments and reconciliations before the deadline
Prepare monthly AR Reports, Vacancy reports, LMR and LMR interest reconciliation reports
Ensure timely posting of monthly Rent Roll, pro-rated rent/parking charges, audit and attach rentable items, and complete daily memos
Apply LMR deposit, distribute LMR interest, and timely refund LMR/Security deposit
Maintenance of Rent Roll, tenant ledgers, A/R accounts, LMR accounts, Chargeback accounts
Process PAP and NSF's and assign tenants to collection
Prepare monthly reconciliation of rent rolls (rental and parking)
Monthly reconciliation of parking lease charges to site parking information
Prepare monthly A/R and vacancy loss analysis reports (actual to budget)
Communicate with internal and external member of the organization
Assist in special projects and preparation of other reports as required
Requirements:
Accounting background preferred
Yardi Voyager an asset
Property Vista an asset
Property management skills is an asset
Strong Excel skills
Organized and detailed-oriented
Able to meet deadline
Able to work individually and in a team-environment
