Overview
We are expanding our current ladieswear boutique into a new location at Mattick's Farm! We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to help build and lead a team to open this new location and build its presence in the community. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, an ability to adapt and think strategically to manage the business in both the short and long term, and manage customers and team members with consistent energy, empathy, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock organization to ensure product availability.
• Handle cash management processes, including cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to foster a collaborative work environment and address any operational issues promptly.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and develop strategies to improve overall store performance.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment that attracts customers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while promoting a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar role with demonstrated success in driving sales growth.
• Strong skills in training development and team management to cultivate a high-performing workforce.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy retail setting.
• Proficient in cash handling, POS, and online transactions, and the ability to problem solve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations within the store.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
