Job Description

East Bank Variety on Armour Rd. is seeking a mature, customer service oriented, part-time store clerk. Majority of shifts will be evenings/weekends. MUST have flexible availability.This position will start at $16.55 /HR and include the following duties-Greet customers upon entering establishment and provide exemplary customer service at all times.-Monitor customers needs regularly, answer questions, and provide information as required-Handle cash, change and operate the cash register, POS system, and Lottery machine-Prepare and/or serve food items such as pizza and ice cream-Ensure stock levels on the sales floor are maintained continually-Organize merchandise pricing, signage and coding-Maintain refrigerated and freezer items at a secure and satisfactory level-Complete various forms and worksheets to control sales, deposits and inventory-Participate in the Sale of Tobacco and Lottery products, ensuring strict adherence to all applicable laws, restrictions and responsibilities.-Clean and maintain the store (inside and outside) including washrooms, stock room, walk-in cooler, coffee/food stations, Lottery centre. Including, but not limited to, dusting, mopping, sweeping, emptying trash cans.-Ensure safety of the company's property and money, prevent theft, cash deficits and product lossesPrevious experience selling Lottery & tobacco products is an asset.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPay: From $16.55 per hourBenefits:

• Customer service: 1 year (required)
• Cash handling: 1 year (required)
