Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Sales Supervisor to lead and motivate our store team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales growth. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management to create a positive shopping environment and achieve business objectives.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and cash handling. Lead, train, and develop sales associates to enhance their performance and customer service skills. Manage staff scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, and conducting performance evaluations. Oversee sales activities, set sales targets, and implement strategies to meet or exceed goals. Maintain visual merchandising standards to attract customers and promote products effectively. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor pricing strategies, conduct market research, and assist in purchasing decisions to optimize profit margins. Oversee POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks related to store management. Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and increase store visibility. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and store procedures.

Skills

Proven experience in retail sales management with supervising or leadership responsibilities. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence purchasing decisions. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, bookkeeping, and basic math skills. Knowledge of merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and marketing principles. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff. Effective team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and administrative tasks. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Leadership qualities including supervising experience, budgeting capabilities, and strategic planning expertise. Customer service orientation with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
