Job Overview:

Taj Rugs, a trusted provider of area rugs in the Greater Toronto Area for over 40 years, is seeking a personable and energetic sales associate for our Vaughan location. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in retail sales, be comfortable with heavy lifting, be proficient in English, and possess strong customer service skills. Additional assets include a desire for growth, strong computer skills, experience with social media for business marketing, and the ability to adapt to various roles beyond sales.

Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Computer Skills

- Social media Ads management

- Good communication skills

- Heavy Lifting

- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor

- Assist with inventory management

- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns promptly

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of retail sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be from Vaughan and Woodbridge locality, and a driver's License is an asset.

We offer competitive pay rates with commission based on experience.
