Job Title: Retail Sales Associate - Vape Store

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: 7 Days a Week

Position Overview:

As a Sales Associate at our vape store, you will play a crucial role in providing a positive and engaging shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for individuals who are personable, friendly, talkative, helpful, punctual, and quick learners to join our team. Vape knowledge would be an added bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

Greet customers warmly as they enter the store. Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences. Provide in-depth product knowledge and recommendations based on customer preferences. Offer assistance and answer inquiries related to disposables, devices, and e-liquids.

Sales and Product Knowledge:

Actively promote and sell our range of products to meet sales targets. Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the vaping industry. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings. Upselling products

Point of Sale Operations:

Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Handle exchanges and returns efficiently and professionally.

Store Maintenance:

Keep shelves and displays well-stocked and visually appealing. Monitor and restock inventory as needed. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and inviting for customers.

Customer Service Excellence:

Resolve customer issues and concerns in a prompt and satisfactory manner. Foster positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. Strive to exceed customer expectations in every interaction.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with fellow team members to achieve common goals. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management. Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.

Social Media Content Creation:

Create social media content for Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook Utilize our social media to communicate and engage with customers/online community Be active on social media regarding events, new inventory, and promotions

Qualifications:

Previous retail or customer service experience is highly preferred. Knowledge or interest in vaping products is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing situations. Experience with Social Media content creation
