No need to worry if you don't have experience selling maternity wear, if you are coachable, we will teach you. You will learn about the brands we carry, how our denim fits, how to fit a nursing bra and what the trending and must have gifts are for mom to be.

Responsibilities:

Maintain proper cash procedures- count float at open, close and start and end the register session

Warmly welcome our customers upon entering the store and assist customers with finding merchandise and educating on products

Add inventory into point-of-sale system (as directed by owner or manager)

Steam, fold, hang and organize merchandise to be displayed on sales floor

Price and tag items as directed

Open shifts are required to mop and vacuum before opening

Dust as needed

Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists

Ensure backroom is cleaned and organized

Remove garbage and recycling as needed

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Huge benefit is to have any of the following skills: Past retail sales experience, merchandising a clothing store, inventory management and experience with Shopify, Canva and Social Media for business

Ability to read, write and understand English

Proven ability to work with customers in a courteous, positive, and respectful manner

Proven decision-making skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment both alone and with team members

Arrive to work on time and executes tasks in a timely manner

Always offers additional help to customers when appropriate

Capable of building relationships with clients and educating on products

Capable of learning and implementing the outlined sales/relationship building system

Days are negotiable but at a minimum, the part-time position is required to be in the store tso days per week primarily weekends. We are flexible and generous with time off, bonuses and a great staff discount. Our hours are currently 11am to 6pm. WEEKEND HOURS will be mandatory.
