Job Summary

We are looking for a part time sales associate with experience in customer service and has a passion for pets! Must be a team player and work well with others. Job incudes greeting customers, helping them find the right products for their pets, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and assisting with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding. Must be willing to learn about our products ( and even test them with your own pets!) Upsell additional items or services to maximize sales opportunities Manage cashiering duties including cash handling, processing transactions accurately via POS systems, and issuing receipts Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the store is clean, welcoming, and well-stocked Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store policies Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising setups Support team members with daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning

Skills

Strong communication skills in English Experience in retail sales Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for transactions Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers effectively Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory management Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods Phone etiquette for professional customer interactions over the phone or via digital channels Sales-driven mindset with a focus on upselling and customer engagement Ability to work well in a team environment while independently managing responsibilities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
