What you'll do




As Retail Modernization Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting multiple store improvement projects, from concept to completion, at any given time. You will work cross functionally with teams including Visual, Real Estate, Construction and Design, to track project progress and ensure milestones are met.


A detailed understanding of store design and construction along with the ability to work cross functionally through strong communication, facilitation and project management skills is essential. Additionally, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Sport Chek store database. Proficiency in Excel is required, experience with AI and Microsoft Copilot is considered an asset.


In this role, you'll:

Manage multiple store-improvement projects from concept to completion, working cross-functionally with teams including Visual, Real Estate, Construction and Design to track progress and ensure milestones are met. Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress, while identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. Create and maintain the Sport Chek store database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information; proficiency in Excel is required for this task. Assist Integrated Planning team members in streamlining processes through enhanced organization and automaton, while providing additional project support as needed.

What you bring



University Degree in Business, Design, or equivalent. 3+ years experience in design and construction, project management, or related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Excel, experience in CAD. Strong understanding of real estate trends and processes.
