As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the store meets its sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. Manage daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays. Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and development of staff to build a high-performing team. Implement effective payroll management and budgeting practices to optimize store profitability. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cash handling, pricing, and administrative tasks. Develop marketing strategies to promote products and increase foot traffic in the store. Utilize POS systems for transaction processing and inventory tracking. Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory levels through effective bookkeeping practices.

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Proven experience in retail sales management with a focus on customer service excellence. Proficient in merchandising techniques that drive sales and enhance product visibility. Demonstrated supervisory experience with a knack for team management and motivation. Solid understanding of budgeting principles and financial reporting in a retail environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with administrative duties such as payroll processing, interviewing, and training & development initiatives. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and pricing strategies.
