We are seeking two friendly and professional Retail and Guest Services Manager to join our team at our high volume, fast paced tourist destination. Ideal candidates will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role oversees all daily operational requirements, includes scheduling staff, ensuring all health and safety policies and procedures are followed and maintained, ensures food items are prepared to standards and ready for daily service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries and requests efficiently.
Duties
Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
Provide information about location, services, and attractions.
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a timely manner.
Manage reservations and maintain accurate records in the booking system.
Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in billing.
Oversee Retail Store operations, processing guests through the high volume gift store
Coordinates with other areas in terms of guest participation in activities throughout the property
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during a guest's visit, including but not limited to satisfaction and incident reporting
Skills
Experience in Hospitality/Tourism destination management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in computer systems and inventory management software is a plus.
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to guest relations.
Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is required.
