About this role
As a Retail & Growth Verticals Marketing Lead, you will play a key role in supporting and executing partner marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) within Skip's retail division. This role focuses on customer marketing for partners in retail categories such as grocery, pharmacy, alcohol, and convenience. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of marketing principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to drive results.
Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Toronto office & 2 days working from home
Reporting to: Senior Marketing Manager
These are some of the key components to the position:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive engagement and achieve KPIs for growth vertical partners and categories; ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and brand strategy. Responsibilities include campaign planning, coordinating creative assets, and supporting media strategy and performance tracking.
Leverage market research and consumer insights to inform campaign planning and identify opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with Skip's Partnership team to develop and support partner marketing plans, helping bring new programs and initiatives to life.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Customer Engagement, and Product Development, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
Analyze campaign performance metrics and assist in identifying areas for optimization to improve ROI and overall effectiveness.
Stay informed about industry developments and emerging trends, contributing ideas to drive innovation and keep campaigns competitive.
What will you bring to the team?
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on executing campaigns and supporting marketing strategies for diverse audiences.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with marketing tools, metrics, and performance measurement techniques.
