Position Overview

We are currently hiring full-time Retail Greenhouse Sales Associates. This is a physically active role that involves assisting customers, maintaining greenhouse displays, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a retail setting. Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience. Strong communication and organizational skills Positive, outgoing, and team-oriented attitude. Steel-toe boots/shoes are mandatory. Flexible availability, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and statutory holidays. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold). Knowledge of plants (annuals, perennials, vegetables, tropicals) is an asset. Previous experience in a garden centre is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with plant and product selection, offering knowledgeable and friendly service. Receive, organize, and merchandise new stock. Maintain the overall cleanliness and presentation of the greenhouse, including plant care and display upkeep. Ensure products are neatly arranged and properly labeled. Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Perform additional tasks as required to support the greenhouse operations.

Work Schedule

Full-time shifts ranging from 35 to 40 hours per week. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and statutory holidays as scheduled.
