We are currently looking for a

Full-Time Retail Fishmonger

to join our team as a

Store Administrator

. This role primarily involves customer service, fish cutting and computer data entry with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Work week schedule will be approximately 35 hrs per week. Must be available to consistently work

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

Our Fishmongers provide an excellent, informative and positive experience for our customers while efficiently maintaining store operations.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

Displaying products and managing inventory and storage for all food items according to strict health and safety specifications Customer service and retail sales - greet customers and assist them with their inquiries and purchases Learning knife skills and fish butchery Learning specific information pertaining to all products offered and being able to provide customers with knowledgeable advice on products, food preparation and cooking techniques Assist in packaging products for customers, ensuring quality presentation Strong discipline of health, safety and hygiene maintenance of work environment Operating the POS system, processing payments and cash management Stocking and merchandising all products Store opening and closing duties Assisting with daily operations

Our ideal candidate has:

A passion for food, cooking and providing excellent customer service Culinary experience in a commercial Kitchen or Restaurant (must have) Warm and professional Customer Service experience in Retail or Restaurant establishments Strong computer skills Dynamic and positive attitude Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills with a focus on customer engagement Can lift up to 50lbs Full time availability, specifically weekends and holidays Able to work both independently and as part of a team Desire to learn and develop new skills Wants to work in the food industry with a good life/work balance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
