Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity available for a Retail Execution Specialist to join our Retail Operations team. Reporting to the Regional Director, Retail Operations, you will be responsible for the successful on-boarding of all new Dealer-Owners and for assisting the field sales teams by providing on-going development and training to Dealers and their staff.

This is a key role that focuses on fostering relationships with our Dealer-Owners and working with them to drive the success of the store\xe2\x80\x99s future. *Please note this role requires extensive travel throughout Quebec, and occasionally other provinces.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Support with remote and on-site training of HHSL systems and services for all new Dealers and their staff.
  • Be a subject matter expert in all training content, HHSL systems, services, and corporate programs.
  • Assist Regional Director and Field Sales teams (Territory Managers) with special store projects i.e., new store set-up, data guide, recommended inventory report training, fixture set-up, merchandising set-up, and category management initiatives.
  • Participate in various training and development activities, program roll-out events, and peer collaboration.
  • Execute in store operational checklists as required.
  • Participate, attend, and contribute to all required Dealer peer and performance team meetings.
  • Assist Regional Director / Territory Manager with confirming application conditions have been completed. Assist with follow-up and support as required.
  • Support all company goals and objectives.
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • A minimum of five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in training or facilitation focused role within the Retail or Hardware industry.
  • Solid understanding of retail business operations and customer service concepts.
  • Experience within the home improvement or lumber industry is considered an asset, with strong retail merchandising skills and abilities.
  • Project management skills, with the versatility to manage a varied scope of projects.
  • A strong facilitator with the ability to teach, coach and facilitate presentations at a high level.
  • Ability to analyze data and financial reporting to identify opportunities for growth/improvement within a business unit.
  • Fully bilingual in English and French, with strong written and verbal communications.
  • Advanced interpersonal and relationship building skills in order to create strong partnerships with all stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office software.

Description Du Poste:
  • Offrir du soutien pour la formation \xc3\xa0 distance et sur place des syst\xc3\xa8mes et des services de HHSL \xc3\xa0 tous les nouveaux marchands et \xc3\xa0 leur personnel.
  • \xc3\x8atre un expert en la mati\xc3\xa8re dans tout ce qui a attrait au contenu de formation, aux syst\xc3\xa8mes, aux services et aux programmes d\xe2\x80\x99entreprise de HHSL.
  • Aider le Directeur R\xc3\xa9gional des Op\xc3\xa9rations et les \xc3\xa9quipes des ventes sur le terrain (gestionnaire de territoire) \xc3\xa0 r\xc3\xa9aliser des projets sp\xc3\xa9ciaux en magasin, par exemple la mise en place d\xe2\x80\x99un nouveau magasin, le guide de donn\xc3\xa9es, la formation recommand\xc3\xa9e sur les rapports d\xe2\x80\x99inventaire, la configuration des pr\xc3\xa9sentoirs, la mise en place du marchandisage et les initiatives de gestion des cat\xc3\xa9gories.
  • Participer \xc3\xa0 diverses activit\xc3\xa9s de formation et de d\xc3\xa9veloppement, \xc3\xa0 des \xc3\xa9v\xc3\xa9nements de d\xc3\xa9ploiement de programmes et \xc3\xa0 la collaboration entre pairs.
  • Ex\xc3\xa9cuter des listes de v\xc3\xa9rification des op\xc3\xa9rations en magasin, au besoin.
  • Participer et contribuer \xc3\xa0 toutes les r\xc3\xa9unions obligatoires des marchands et d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe structur\xc3\xa9es sur le rendement.
  • Aider le directeur r\xc3\xa9gional ou le gestionnaire de territoire des op\xc3\xa9rations et ventes au d\xc3\xa9tail \xc3\xa0 confirmer que les conditions de la demande ont \xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9 remplies. Aider au suivi et au soutien, au besoin.
  • Soutenir tous les objectifs de l\xe2\x80\x99entreprise.
Exigences:
  • Un minimum de cinq ans d\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9rience dans le domaine de la formation ou de la facilitation dans le secteur du commerce de d\xc3\xa9tail ou de la quincaillerie.
  • Compr\xc3\xa9hension solide des activit\xc3\xa9s et des concepts de la vente au d\xc3\xa9tail et du service \xc3\xa0 la client\xc3\xa8le.
  • Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans le domaine de la r\xc3\xa9novation domiciliaire ou du bois d\xe2\x80\x99\xc5\x93uvre est un atout, avec de solides comp\xc3\xa9tences et aptitudes en marchandisage au d\xc3\xa9tail.
  • Comp\xc3\xa9tences en gestion de projet, pouvant g\xc3\xa9rer de fa\xc3\xa7on polyvalente une vari\xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9 de projets.
  • Un excellent facilitateur capable d\xe2\x80\x99enseigner, d\xe2\x80\x99encadrer et de faciliter les pr\xc3\xa9sentations de haut niveau.
  • Capacit\xc3\xa9 d\xe2\x80\x99analyser les donn\xc3\xa9es et les rapports financiers pour rep\xc3\xa9rer les occasions de croissance ou d\xe2\x80\x99am\xc3\xa9lioration au sein d\xe2\x80\x99une unit\xc3\xa9 commerciale.
  • Bilinguisme parfait en anglais et en fran\xc3\xa7ais, tant \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99oral qu\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9crit.
  • Comp\xc3\xa9tences avanc\xc3\xa9es en relations interpersonnelles et en \xc3\xa9tablissement de relations afin de cr\xc3\xa9er de solides partenariats avec toutes les parties prenantes.
  • Solide connaissance pratique des logiciels Microsoft Office.
