Job Summary

The Retail Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring timely, safe, and accurate deliveries from our Sherwood Park and St. Albert locations to retail customers, businesses, and commercial planter clients. This role involves hands-on loading, transportation, and setup of custom planters and products, while delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects Salisbury's standard of care and quality.


You'll be part of a supportive operations team that keeps our retail and commercial deliveries running smoothly during peak greenhouse seasons and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Deliveries



Deliver plants, products, and materials to residential and commercial customers with care and professionalism. Communicate with customers upon delivery to confirm order details and placement preferences. Ensure proper handling of delicate and live plant material during loading, transit, and delivery. Support retail operations by assisting with large or special orders, including curbside pickup coordination.

Commercial Barrel Planters



Load, transport, and deliver custom commercial barrel planters to business clients across Edmonton, Sherwood Park, and St. Albert. Safely maneuver and position heavy planters using dollies, carts, or small equipment as required. Assist the design team with planter installation, seasonal change-outs, and pickup for replanting cycles. Maintain high attention to detail in presentation and placement to ensure planters meet Salisbury's brand standards.

Logistics & Operations



Conduct daily vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and keep vehicles clean and organized. Maintain accurate records for delivery logs, mileage, and inspection forms. Transfer materials and inventory between Salisbury locations as needed. Support warehouse and receiving teams with product handling and organization. Represent Salisbury Greenhouse as a positive, helpful, and professional ambassador in all interactions.

Qualifications

Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract. Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 75 lbs. Knowledge of Sherwood Park, St. Albert, and Edmonton delivery routes. Customer service mindset -- friendly, courteous, and solution-oriented. Experience handling plants or horticultural materials is considered an asset. Forklift and Bobcat Operator Certificates - strong assets. Lawn and Garden Dispenser Certificate - an asset. * Dependable, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
