Position Summary

We're looking for a friendly and approachable Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with families, loves kids' products, and takes pride in creating a welcoming in-store experience. From helping a toddler find their first pair of shoes to assisting parents with sizing and fit, you'll be a key part of the customer journey.

This role blends customer service, merchandising, and hands-on retail operations. You'll work with our Shopify POS system for sales and inventory, support in-store events, and ensure our store always looks its best.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers, providing warm and patient service to kids and parents Help families find the right fit for shoes and apparel, including proper measuring and sizing conversions Operate Lightspeed and/or Shopify POS for sales, inventory management, and order fulfillment Open and close the store, maintaining a tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked environment Support promotions, in-store events, and merchandising displays Handle customer concerns or returns with professionalism and care Collaborate with team members to keep operations running smoothly Occasionally assist with social media (Instagram stories, product tagging, etc.)

Qualifications

Previous retail experience (kidswear/footwear is a plus) Warm, friendly, and patient personality -- especially when working with children Strong interest or knowledge in kidswear and footwear products Experience with Lightspeed and/or Shopify POS and inventory management (required) Reliable and flexible -- available to work weekends and holidays Able to lift boxes (up to 30 lbs) and assist with store setup and restocking Bonus: Experience creating simple social media content (stories, tagging products)
