Location: Montreal, Canada (Hybrid 50% onsite/ 50% remote)Duration: Long-termPosition Type: Full TimeVisa: Must be Authorized to work in Canada legallyJob Ref: 0810Requirement: Excellent understanding of System Architecture and IT Project Lifecycle Solid knowledge of Retail environment, real live experience working with Retail /Point-of-Sale Applications Ability to quickly adapt to multitasking, adhering to dynamic change request/shifting priorities environment Proven record of interpreting functional specifications and creating technical specification flows and documents Ability to adapt with company's SDLC methodology as we are transforming into Agile Flexibility develop in both Waterfall and Agile environments, working directly with the Program/Project managers Based in Montreal with occasional travel within Canada & USA Onsite support for stores and outlets on needed basis Technical Requirement Retail Background or experience working with Retail Applications (CEGID, SAP GK a big plus) Excellent understanding of System Architecture and IT Project Lifecycle Strong Design and Development of Web APIs (Rest and SOAP) Exceptionally strong SQL Server Development, including Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Assemblies Experience with file based and API interfaces Experience with Batch and VB Scripting Working Knowledge of VB.Net /C#.NET, Java Script, HTML Nice to Have Database administration experience (optimizing, monitoring, analyzing) DevOps experience including code repository tool (i.e. GitLab) PODs environment experience with Agile methodology plusJob Type: Full-timeFlexible Language Requirement:
