Whether its analyzing how to make assortment, pricing, and promotions more profitable, tailoring media strategies to likely purchasers of brands, or guiding users through new products or market planning, we ensure our clients can better leverage data to help grow their business. This is a hybrid role with on-site requirements of 2 days per week in one of the following locations:
  • Stellarton, NS
  • Montreal, QC
  • Toronto, ON
  • Calgary, AB
Core Responsibilities The primary objective of the Analyst Retail Client Service role is to deliver client service support for Circana collaborative gateway services that engage CPG retailer clients with their supplier partners to drive mutual growth. This role also supports senior Retail Client Service team members to deliver exceptional service to key retail client relationships. Essential Roles & Responsibilities Client Leadership
  • Demonstrate Ability to build trusted relationships with retailer
  • Ability to engage in a consultative manner with the retailer when helping solve/manage content deliverables
  • Communicate, verbally and in writing, essential Circana service details and process information so that retailer stakeholders understand key capabilities and benefits
  • Work closely with senior retail client service team members to understand and analyze client issues, target relevant insights, and make timely recommendations
  • Help retailer derive key strategic insights from various data types that Circana provides
  • Become familiar with retailer issues - merchandising, marketing, operations, supply chain, competitive landscape
Financial Management
  • Support exceeding revenue and favorable data contract terms through quality delivery of solutions, reporting, and insights
  • Manage expenses according to the needs of the business
Leadership
  • Build credibility with senior retail client service team members and contribute to an enthusiastic, client-focused team spirit
  • Recognize common company goals, diversity, and interdependencies between team members
  • Utilize Circana corporate best-demonstrated practices such as the SOLV Model, Feedback Model, and Client Value Program
  • Actively participate in the Circana Balanced Scorecard process
Innovation
  • Identify and develop new project opportunities with the retailer
  • Utilize creativity in identifying new techniques and processes
  • Expand knowledge of the CPG industry by leveraging industry-related publications from internal and external resources
Key Requirements To support the essential roles and responsibilities outlined above, the ideal candidate must possess the following experience and skills:
  • 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in the CPG industry
  • Bilingual fluency in English and French is preferred
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to embrace new data sets, systems, processes, technologies, and ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, clearly articulate, and/or solve problems/data issues by making recommendations and/or decisions that are sensible given the available information
  • A strong desire to help clients make their business successful using Big Data
  • Ability to ask probing questions to understand the foundational ideas concerning an issue and formulate possible solutions based on the information
  • Hold self and others accountable for meeting timeline and quality standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field
