Position Summary

We are currently seeking Temporary Retail Clerks to support our retail operations during our busy period. The Retail Clerk is a key member of the retail team, responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining product quality and presentation, and supporting daily store operations. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and cleanliness. The position offers a great opportunity for growth within a company rooted in tradition and committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with purchases and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain a strong understanding of products and company offerings to provide accurate information. Present and showcase seafood products with attention to quality and visual appeal. Accurately pack and prepare customer orders for local delivery. Replenish shelves and displays as needed to ensure product availability. Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately. Perform regular cleaning and sanitation tasks to uphold cleanliness standards. Support other store functions and tasks as assigned.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) Exposure to cold storage environments Handling and exposure to various seafood products

Duration

Temporary position - duration will depend on business needs Possibility of extension based on performance and operational requirements
